Product Updates: Cost codes & CSV exports for your ERP!

Written by Ben Preston | Apr 10, 2025 2:00:00 PM

Hi there,

We were busy in March with a lot of features that came directly from you all so thank you for all of your input!

πŸ™ I have a favor to ask!

We are looking for more volunteers to test out the A.I. powered parts manuals we rolled out in February. If you have PDF parts manuals sitting on a thumb drive or folder somewhere, please send those our way so we can get them uploaded and available for your team in the field.

As a reminder...

Why are we sending this?

1. We’re constantly rolling out new features that you may not know about (but should!).

2. Your feedback fuels everything we build β€” so keep it coming! I invite you to reply back to these emails whenever a question, issue or idea pops in your head.

Let's get into it...

πŸ“Š Export orders to CSV

A lot of you asked for an easier way to keep your ERPs updated with completed orders. You will now find an export option on the bottom of your reporting page that enables you to export all fulfilled orders over any given time frame in both a raw format and in your ERP's standard format (starting with Spectrum). Thanks to Dylan at Yantis for the help!

🧾 Assign job numbers & cost codes

Logging job numbers and cost codes once an invoice comes in is the bane of everyone's existence. Now you can upload your codes, easily attach them to requests, and track them them throughout the order lifecycle.

πŸ“§ Vendors can enter quotes simply by replying to emails

We received feedback from some of your vendors that they are hesitant to click on any links in the emails we send them. Or that clicking the button in the emails feels like a big change. Vendors can now submit quotes via Gearflow simply by replying to the email with the PDF quote attached. It's pretty magical, check it out!

✌️ Delete vendors

A small feature that fixes a big headache. You now have the ability to delete vendors on your own.

What do you want us to work on next? Share your feedback and we’ll keep making Gearflow even better.

Looking forward to hearing from you all!
